CEMPRESSO Boosted by €2 Million Investment from South Central Ventures

Bulb Technologies raised €2 million to boost further development and global expansion of CEMPRESSO, Bulb’s next-generation solution for Customer Experience Management automation.

The investment comes from the venture capital fund South Central Ventures (Enterprise Innovation Fund – ENIF). Investors in the South Central Ventures include European Investment Fund (EIF), European Bank for Restructuring and Development (EBRD) and the German KfW Development Bank.

Since inception in 2006, Bulb Technologies has earned a reputation as a leader in broadband service management. It has helped communication service providers – fixed, cable and mobile operators – to deliver superior customer experience while drastically reducing operational cost. Bulb has served more than forty clients around Europe, among them operators of Deutsche Telekom, Telekom Austria and United groups.

Bulb’s CEMPRESSO is a next-generation solution that redefines the concept of Customer Experience Management (CEM). It brings a new approach to end-to-end automated diagnostics, guided troubleshooting and analytics. Based on easy-to-create workflows, CEMPRESSO provides step-by-step guidance to customer support agents and empowers end-subscribers to fix problems themselves through a smartphone self-care app.

The funding will be used to accelerate further development and worldwide growth of CEMPRESSO both in the telecom industry and with other large enterprises looking to automate their complex customer support processes. Bulb’s goal is to become the leading supplier of CEM solutions to telecom operators globally, and a key enabler, as a service assurance platform, of the upcoming IoT boom.

Bulb Technologies helps telecom operators deliver their key strategic priority – superior customer experience. Over the past ten years we have carried out numerous projects for the leading telecoms, and are recognized as a partner of choice for telecom service management. The partnership with South Central Ventures will enable us to move faster in expansion into global markets and in further enhancing our CEMPRESSO product suite.  – stated Vedran Rezar, Bulb Technologies’ co-founder.

We are thrilled to welcome Bulb Technologies and its team members to our portfolio. Bulb has a proven track record in one of the most demanding technology segments. The team has unparalleled technical and operation expertise in telecom service management, coupled with a state-of-the art product and a global ambition.  – stated Jure Mikuž, Managing Partner, SCV.
